Scott Logsdon is an award-winning actor/writer/director. Writings include book/lyrics for STICKS & STONES (with composer John McDaniel) which had a premiere concert that starred Audra McDonald, Javier Muñoz, Mykal Kilgore, George Salazar and Josh Colley for Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation and BC/EFA; 12 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS (with twice Olivier nominated composer Dana P. Rowe); JOYCE JACKSON'S GUIDE TO DATING, (with composer Steve Marzullo) which was seen in concert at 54 Below and premiered in Florida; AN AMERICAN COUNTRY CHRISTMAS CAROL (with various CMA and Grammy winning and nominated composers,) and THE CRINOLYNNS, A CRINOLYNNS CHRISTMAS, LOVE (R)EVOLUTION, and ROMERO & JULIET (with composer AaronGandy). He directed the NYCConcert and Pittrsburgh world premieres of ROMERO. JOYCE JACKSON was a finalist for Richard Rodgers/ Jonathan Larson Awards. Both STICKS & STONES and JOYCE JACKSON won the Florida Theatrical Association’s New Musical Discovery Series in 2016 and 2017. Logsdon was vetted by the Cole Porter estate to rewrite lyrics for the documentary, Fabulously Fake: The Real Life of Kenneth Jay Lane. He and Dana P. Rowe wrote the theme song for the web series, Stars in the House,which was recorded by Liz Callaway. For the Roundabout Theatre Company, he wrote the opening for their tribute to Alec Baldwin, and his work has been seen in THE GYPSY OF THE YEAR competition. As an actor, he was an originating cast member in the LES MISERABLES national company, a show he also did on Broadway/internationally where he was seen as Thenardier opposite Colm Wilkinson. He also served as dance captain, staging seven companies of the Marius Company tour. He’s been seen as Sweeney Todd, Anatoly, Billy Bigelow, King Herod, Che, and El Gallo. Logsdon has sung with symphonies with Tony winner Cady Huffman and Tony nominees Liz Callaway and Howard McGillin and across North America. Scott received a Distinguished Alumni Award from Shenandoah Conservatory.
